DE-SKUNKING

Has your curious canine found his favorite skunk friend again? Well here’s a natural remedy that really works to remove that smell.

In a plastic bucket mix:
1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
¼ cup baking soda
1-2 teaspoons liquid dish soap

Wash your dog promptly really working the soap into the heavily sprayed areas (use your nose for this!). But watch out for those eyes and ears! Leave on for about 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly. Occasionally, it requires more than one application. Good luck!
